Dr. Alyssa attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate studies in Animal Science and continued her education there at ISU College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Alyssa has a special interest in feline medicine and surgery. She lives in the greater Cincinnati area with her husband and their 4 cats, Princess Aurora, Captain Jack Harkness, the Doctor (big Doctor Who fans), and Poe. Outside of work, she loves bicycling and has completed RAGBRAI a couple times which is 500 miles in 7 days across the state of Iowa on her bike! She also enjoys watching Marvel movies, cheering on the Cincinnati Cyclones hockey, reading, trying out new craft breweries and wineries, and spending time with friends and family.
