Her son Steve is in the landscaping business, and has twin boys, Drake and Raven, both of which are very involved with several different sport activities. Last, but definitely not least, is Matt, her autistic son to whom she is totally devoted. Cookie has been instrumental in improving the care and safety of the individuals who receive services through the Butler County MRDD, and will continue to do so. She began her career 26 years ago at the Animal Care Center and was  Dr. Dave’s 1st employee! Under his direction she became an important part of the development and growth of the company. Cookie’s responsibilities include mentoring the managers and training director but, her favorite part of her job is the satisfaction she gets from seeing them grow in their ability to perform their positions.  She truly believes it is a joy and privilege to be involved with such a wonderful company. Working with Dr. Dave and the caring and enthusiastic staff has been an amazing journey.

Cookie has an open door policy with staff members as well as clients. Please stop by and say hi to her the next time you visit the Animal Care Centers - and if you have your pet with you that would be an added bonus!
